Weber Summit Grill S450

weber summit grill s450 Large enough to cook for the average family, the Weber Summit Grill S450 looks great anywhere you put it.

With its distinctive stainless steel exterior, it lends professionalism to your cooking.

Four stainless steel burners allow you to control your heat precisely with individual control knobs.

The powerful side burner makes it easy to whip up a sauce, a side dish or vegetable.

Stainless steel cooking grates and Flavorizer bars give you excellent results, no matter what you grill. Make steaks, mouthwatering chicken, veggie burgers or kabobs with style.

What We Like About This Weber Summit Gas Grill

The Weber Summit grill S450 is built very solidly. The rotisserie and smoke box are wonderful accessories that let you do even more with this grill. Heat control is precise, so you can cook very delicate items perfectly. Whether you are searing or slow roasting, this grill performs well and heats quickly and evenly. The thermometer keeps you apprised of what is going on.

The ignition system continues to function well use after use, unlike in the cheaper grills where it is usually the first thing to break. It works equally well in the winter as it does in better weather. The stainless steel grates are easy to clean and they hold up well meal after meal.

The Flavorizer bars prevent flare-ups and create a smoky flavor for the food by vaporizing the dripping juices and fat. The rotisserie holds two chickens at the same time, so you can feed a crowd.

The grill materials that it is constructed from are heavy duty and durable. The grill should last for many years. The amount of assembly required after delivery is minimal and Weber's customer service is very responsive and helpful.

What We Don't Like

The Weber Summit grill S450 is very expensive, and may be out of many people's price range. If the entire base was made out of stainless steel and not just the doors, this grill could be just about perfect in every way.

Summary

Overall, the Weber summit grill S450 is one of the best this company has ever made. Strong and durable, the quality of the materials is very high. You can grill, barbecue, roast or smoke your food as you wish. The rotisserie works very well, easily handling roasts, poultry and other bulky meats.

It is a major purchase, and if all you grill are burgers and hot dogs, this may not be the grill for you. On the other hand, if you like slow roasted brisket, grilled whole chickens, or tender pork ribs… the S450 will make them all to perfection. If you've got the budget, try the S450.
