Weber Spirit Grill E210 Black

weber spirit grill e210 The Weber Spirit grill E-210 has a 26,000 BTU cooking system that uses two stainless steel burners.

Weber's well-known Flavorizer bars eliminate flare-ups caused by grease; instead they vaporize the fats and juices, adding a smoky, delicious flavor to your food.

This grill is rugged and weather resistant. It can be moved about easily on heavy duty wheels that won't crack.

What We Like

The Weber Spirit grill E210 is constructed fairly sturdily. It has very little flare-ups thanks to the Flavorizer bars. The grease catcher works very well. The hood is large enough that you can close it over large roasts. The work surface is removable for easy cleaning.

A built-in gauge for the propane tank helps estimate how much fuel you have left. Handy condiment bins are built in, but located far enough away from the grill that they stay cool.

By preheating the grill and wiping down the grates with some cooking oil on towels before adding your food, it will save you a lot of frustration. The grill sears well… it takes about two minutes per side. Even heating throughout the grill makes cooking easy and it heats up quickly. The grill will easily feed two to four people. The compact size makes it perfect to use in small spaces like a balcony.

What We Don't Like

The temperature control of the Weber Spirit grill E210 offers some precision, but not as much as one may want. The wheels should probably be a bit bigger to support the grill when you are moving it. It is a bit difficult to do. The control knobs take up all the space on one side of the grill, lessening your work space.

The enameled grill surface is not as nicely done as the one on the Weber Q. The burners are concentric instead of from side to side.

If you have a chance to upgrade to better cooking grates, do so. The enameled steel grates are thin. Go for stainless steel or enameled cast iron if possible.

Summary

The Weber Spirit grill E210 is a decent grill, overall. It is rather pricey for a grill that is not stainless steel. It does fit in a small space, so if you have the money to spend and only have a small patio, this grill should work well for you.

It heats quickly and cooks well, like most Weber gas grills. Be sure to cover it when not in use… it will lengthen the life of the grill. The grill is available in both LP and natural gas, so you can choose the one you like best.
