Weber Portable Grill

Weber Go Anywhere Grill- Charcoal

This Weber Portable Grill is the perfect choice for tailgating and camping. This compact cooking unit has a large enough grilling area to cook four medium sized steaks. The lid locks into place with the pivoting legs to make this portable grill easy to transport with a single hand.

The lid can rest in a built in hanger so it can be used as a wind barrier. The grate is made of triple-nickel-coated steel for easy cleaning and the steel lid is coated with porcelain enamel for durability.

What We Like

The Weber Portable Grill is priced modestly while maintaining its high quality workmanship. It is a simply designed charcoal grill that fulfills its purpose. The air vents help control your heat very well. It can be taken anywhere… camping, tailgate parties, concerts, sporting events, parks… it works great. This grill is durable and handles travel well. It is useful enough to be your primary grill.

By cooking with the vents open and the lid off, you get a nice hot fire for searing steaks, burgers and anything else you want to grill. It cools off quickly when you are done cooking. All you need to do is put the lid on and close all the vents. The grill is large enough to do a small chicken whole, but to save time it is worth it to cut the bird in pieces.

The ten year warranty is great to have. Weber stands behind this product. The grill itself takes only a few minutes to assemble. The legs keep the grill at a safe distance away from any surface. The price is reasonable and this grill is worth the money.

What We Don't Like

The Weber Portable Grill does not have a hinged lid, which makes it difficult at some times to deal with. Even when clamped down, the lid sometimes lifts up. The pan is too shallow to stack the charcoal in to any height, so the fire can burn out more quickly. The "heat resistant" handles get hot… be sure to use oven mitts.

Weber Go Anywhere Features

  • Packs away easily in a tight place

Summary

All in all, the Weber portable grill is a good value. It is durable, cooks well, and is easy to assemble. It folds up easily into a compact size that is easy to transport and store. This little grill is highly recommended even for an everyday grill for small families or couples. It gives you even heating and performs well for a very small price. Overall, this is an excellent grill for the money!
