Weber Genesis Grill S320

The Weber Genesis grill S320 will make grilling easy. Made of stainless steel, it looks professional in any setting. An extra side burner makes it easy to make a sauce or side dish for your meal without going into the kitchen.

An electronic ignition system makes it easy for anyone to cook on this grill. Weber's reputation shows in this beautiful grill that would make any grill fan happy.

What We Like

The Weber Genesis grill S320 grills quickly, especially if you take the time to preheat so the Flavorizer bars can get hot. It uses its heat very efficiently to cook well every time. The heat distribution is very even, so you don't get hot spots when cooking. The Flavorizer bars help control flare-ups, which makes grilling much easier.

The cooking racks are all stainless steel. There is a method to measure your gas level that is left in the LP tank, which is very helpful. The parts warranty is excellent. While expensive, the grill is worth the extra dollars for the beautiful stainless steel exterior and superior cooking ability of this grill, especially when compared to lesser models.

What We Don't Like

The Weber Genesis grill S320 is difficult to move if you need to go off the pavement. The small wheels have a hard time negotiating lawn. The stainless steel also will rust quickly when exposed to rain or damp. If you are using the side burner, there is no good work surface to set a plate on. The side that does not hold the extra burner has the main burner controls for the grill, which takes up quite a bit of room.

The grill cover has two large mesh areas that allow rain to get on the controls and the side tables. Assembly can be time consuming. There is no text in the instructions, only small illustrations.

During cooking, the handle on the hood gets very hot when you cook on high, plus when you lift it you get the primary blast of heat from inside hitting your arm. Some grease may not make it to the collection pan. If this isn't cleaned up regularly and collects in the middle of the grill, you run a danger of getting a grease fire, which can be very dangerous. The price is rather steep for many grill fans.

Summary

The Weber Genesis grill S320 is a good investment if you like to grill. For the best results, keep it on a covered deck to protect it from the weather, always preheat it until the Flavorizer bars get red hot, and clean it well on a regular schedule. This grill should last many years and provide you with excellent meals every time. If the stainless steel becomes scorched or rusty, a good silver cleaner will usually take care of any marks.
