Weber 741001 22.5" One-Touch Silver Charcoal Grill Review

I purchased a Weber 741001 22.5" One-Touch Silver Charcoal Grill for a summer barbecue I had earlier this year after reading several different reviews on similar grills. It seemed to be the best value for the money, and with the strongest reputation.

I had previously owned a much smaller, portable grill which would constantly fall apart, and just looked cheap. I needed something larger and with a more attractive look to it that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to show co-workers and friends.

I bought the grill on sale at Home Depot for around $86 along with all of the necessary grilling accessories. It was small enough that I was able to take it with me that day (I am a single female), and not have to pay the extra delivery fee. I have to say, that I was very pleased with everything about it. It comes with two wheels, which allows you to move it around and shift it’s location without any hassle. The two handles allow you to hang the top off of the side when grilling open, and they do not overheat like some other grills, which allow you to move the cover on and off without mitts.

The size is perfect, allowing you to cook lots of food at one time (I cooked for 15 people), but unlike other bulky girls, it is easy to store away when not being used, and even cleaning it is a breeze with the removable coal pan. Since the summer, I have used this grill many times, while cooking for multiple people or just myself. It has allowed me to remember how much I used to enjoy grilling outdoors in the summer. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to by a charcoal grill – especially someone who might need something that isn’t very heavy and can be easily moved around. Weber also is known in the market for having a great warranty and a really high quality product, so I can feel confident that this grill is going to last me for years to come!
