Weber 22.5-inch One-Touch Silver 741001 Grill Review

by bart procacci
(brooklyn, ny, usa)

I bought this grill from the Crate and Barrel store in New York City. I had been shopping around for a good price on a grill and summer was approaching- I wanted to be able to have some cookouts. The price of the grill was about $60 which was better than other comparably-sized grills. I have had it for about 2 years and have not had any problems with it at all.

This grill is perfect because I do not have a large backyard. I live in Brooklyn, NY and have a tiny backyard area that I share with others. I simply do not have the space for a very big grill but I still wanted a Weber, since I think they make the best grills.

Although this grill is on the smaller side, I am still able to fit 3 large hamburgers or 6-8 hot dogs on it and it still isn't crowded. The handle on the lid is great because it doesn't get hot. This grill works just as great as any other Weber (and better than other companies' grill)- it's just a bit smaller.

I would recommend this grill to two different types of people. If you don't have the money to buy one of the bigger Weber gas grills, the 60 dollar price tag with definitely appeal to you. I doubt you will find a grill as well made as this one for less money. The other type of person I would recommend this to are people that are in the same situation as me- little or no backyard. I keep my grill outside, but I could easily bring it in if I needed to. Therefore, even if you had no backyard but just a little outside space, this grill would still work.

I would not recommend this to someone who will have huge BBQ parties- there simply isn't enough room to feed a whole party of hungry people. It's perfect for just a couple friends.
