Traeger Grills

All about the Traeger Pellet Grill

Traeger grills are a bit different from any others on the market… they use wood pellets as fuel instead of charcoal or propane. The wonderful flavor imparted by the wood makes your food taste exceptional, and the grill can also be used to smoke foods, barbecue or bake.

Traeger has been making wood pellet barbecues since 1987, and their grills have been increasing in popularity ever since.

Traeger grills are safer than most other grills. There are no gas leaks or hot briquettes to worry about after cooking. During cooking, there are no flare-ups to worry about either.

An exclusive, patented E-Z Grease Drain System drains grease drippings out of the cooking area into a galvanized bucket for safe storage. Your food will cook more evenly without those frustrating flare-ups. An automatic starter lights the pellets quickly every time.

The grill smokes food so well that you'll be making gourmet foods in your own backyard before you know it.

Traeger Grill Line up

Traeger grills come in many different models so you have quite a choice when it comes to choosing the perfect grill for you.

Traeger Junior

The Traeger Junior is the most affordable grill in their line. It is perfectly sized for a small family, tailgating or any other time you need a grill handy. With 292 square inches of cooking surface and the patented Auto-Start and E-Z drain systems, this little grill is the perfect introduction to cooking with wood pellets. The standard 3 speed temperature control lets you bake, grill, barbecue or smoke foods just like the larger grills do.

Lil' Tex

The Lil' Tex, in Traeger's words, is "a pint sized grill with a ten gallon cooking potential." Featuring a high tech auger-fed burner, the electronic Auto-Start with a solid state control system and the E-Z drain grease system, the Lil' Tex will keep you grilling with no hardship at all. The 3 speed digital control is standard, but a digital thermostat control is available on this model. The Lil' Tex offers 418 square inches of cooking space.

Elite

The Elite is similar to the Lil' Tex, but features a stainless steel grill door, hinged hopper lid and door handle. The hopper is larger and there is an easy to read thermometer on the dome. Viper casters and wheels make this grill easy to maneuver. The standard 3 speed temperature controls are set on this grill, but a digital thermostat control is available.

Texas Grill

The Texas Grill is Traeger's most popular model. Based on the traditional Texas Style wood cookers, the Texas Grill brings old fashioned wood cooking into modern day. It features a high tech auger-fed burner, an electronic Auto-Start, solid state control system and E-Z drain grease system to control flare-ups.

Don't worry about spending all your time tending the fire and temperature. The Texas Grill takes care of all of that for you automatically. Choose from temperatures for Smoke, Medium and High. This Traeger grill offers 646 square inches of cooking space.

Professional Grill

The Professional Grill features a bronze powder coated textured grill door and hopper lid, which doubles as a work surface. An easy to read dome thermometer sits on top. A multi-position digital thermostat gives you precise control over your fire and smoke levels. With 418 square inches of cooking space, you can feed quite a few people easily.

Lil' Pig

The Lil' Pig, it cooks just as well as the other Traeger grills, but it looks like a cute pink pig. Offering 418 square inches of cooking space, an internal hopper and a stainless steel door handle, the Lil' Pig will be the talk of the neighborhood. This grill features the multi-position digital thermostat control, giving you precision in your heat control. The control features an LED read out.

Commercial Smoker Grills

If you take your grilling seriously, you may want to take a look at the commercial smoker grills from Traeger. There is a stationary smoker grill, a double trailer or a large trailer so you can haul your grill behind your car. Perfect for restaurants, caterers or competition cooks, these grills feature a patented electronic control system that will automate your cooking process to deliver consistent, gourmet grilling every time.
